General Information

Who is eligible for a student ticket?

Anyone who is a full time student (12 hours undergraduate or 9 hours graduate) and has a valid University of Kentucky Student ID card.  Your athletics fee must also be paid with your tuition each semester.  BCTC students MUST register and pay the athletics fee online in order to be eligible to purchase student tickets.  BCTC students should click here to pay the athletics fee.

Admission to Games

Football: Present your valid UK student ID card and game ticket at Student Gate #1 at Commonwealth Stadium. Gates open two hours prior to kickoff.

All Other Sports: Admission is FREE for UK Students with a valid UK Student ID.  Please note: Free admission does not apply for post-season conference or NCAA events.

Student season football tickets will go on sale Tuesday, July 16, at 9:00 am online through My UK Student Account.

Eligibility Notes for BCTC Students

• Full-time BCTC students may pay their athletics fee online through eStore in August.  This fee must be paid before tickets are picked up.  BCTC students in UK Housing will be assessed by Housing for all fees, including the athletics fee.
• Eligible BCTC students should contact the ticket office to set up a ticket account, BEFORE July 16th.  The ticket office will need your name, address, phone, email, and 9-digit BCTC PeopleSoft ID number to set up your ticket account.  UK students will automatically have a ticket account set up for them.

Ordering Season Tickets

• Sales will begin Tuesday, July 16th at 9:00 am and conclude once the student allotment is sold out.
• UK students will receive an email in early July with your Account ID and Password to access the online ticketing system.  Note: BCTC students must contact the ticket office in advance to set up an account, in order to receive an Account ID and Password.  If you do not receive an email with your log-in information by July 15th, please contact the ticket office.
• Visit www.ukathletics.com/tickets and click "My UK Student Account."  Enter your ticket office Account ID and Password.  Tip - do not use your email address to log-in.
• Season tickets are just $35 for all seven home games, plus a $2 processing fee.  Each student is eligible to purchase one season ticket.
• Married students may order a season ticket for their spouse ($242) by calling the ticket office at (800) 928-2287.  You'll be required to provide a copy of your marriage certificate.
• Single game tickets will be available once classes begin, based on availability.  Due to anticipated high demand for 2013, students are encouraged to buy a season ticket.  Individual game sale dates are TBA.

Ticket Pick Up

• Student season tickets are not mailed.  Students may pick up tickets beginning Monday, August 26th at the Joe Craft Center ticket office.  Purchasers will receive an email later in the summer with further instructions for claiming your tickets.
• Every student MUST have their valid student ID to pick up their tickets.  Tickets will only be released if the name on the student ID matches the name on the ticket account, and the ID is valid.  If you are picking up tickets for other students, you must have each corresponding student ID.
• New Wildcard Student IDs will be required to attend football games.  If you are a returning student, please visit the Student ID Office to obtain your new Wildcard by September 5th.

 Entry Procedures/Seating

• Students enter Commonwealth Stadium at Gate 1 with valid ticket and student ID.  Gates open two hours prior to kick-off.
• Students wishing to sit together in the lower level (section 104-107) should proceed to the entrance ramps and present their ticket to receive a wristband.  Once all wristbands have been distributed and the lower level is full, students will be directed into the upper level student sections (200-210).
• Guest Tickets (single games): General admission guest tickets will only be admitted to the upper level student sections.
• Spouse Tickets: Married students who purchase a full-price season ticket for their spouse will be eligible to sit in the lower level student sections, along with their spouse.  Both individuals should enter together and present a spouse/family card to receive wristbands.  You will receive your spouse/family card when you pick up your season tickets.

Football Single Game Distribution

**Due to anticipated high demand for 2013, students are encouraged to buy a season ticket.  Individual game tickets will be sold once classes begin, based on availibility.  Actual distribution dates are TBA.

Tickets are $5.00 and are sold to students first on Monday and Tuesday of distribution week at the Joe Craft Center Ticket Office from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Students may purchase both student and full price guest tickets (if available) beginning on Wednesday of distribution week.  Guest tickets are priced as follows: Miami & Alabama State: $45 each; Florida, Missouri, Tennessee: $60 each; Louisville & Alabama: $75 each.  Remaining tickets may be purchased at Commonwealth Stadium on game day, if available.  **If you are not able to get a ticket during normal distributions, you may check on the day of each football game at the stadium ticket booth beginning 2 hours prior to kick-off.  Any student season tickets that are not picked up by the day of each game will be sold at Commonwealth Stadium on game-days.  These tickets will be $5.00 each, and you must show your student ID to purchase one. 

Ticket sales are CASH ONLY at Commonwealth Stadium.  We accept cash, check, or Plus Account payments for football tickets purchased at the Joe Craft Center Ticket Office.  Any checks or credit cards used for payment must be in your own name.
