Student season football tickets will go on sale Monday, July 18 at 9:00 am.  In an effort to enhance the game-day experience, promote school spirit, and allow students to choose where they sit, UK will implement changes to the student sections at Commonwealth Stadium this fall.  Beginning this season, the entire lower level student area and a majority of the upper level student area will be converted to general admission, first-come, first-serve seating Get there early and get the best seats!

Students - it is essential that you read the complete instructions before the July 18th on-sale begins, so you will understand how the process works.

Basics of New Process

  • Sales will begin July 18th and conclude once the season ticket allotment has been sold.
  • All lower level student sections and most upper level student sections will be general admission, first-come first-serve seating.
  • Students will enter Commonwealth Stadium at Gate 1 and are encouraged to participate in the Cat Walk festivities prior to gates opening.
  • Upon entering the stadium, students with general admission tickets can choose between lower level and upper level seating areas.
  • Students entering the lower level (sections 104-107) will be wristbanded upon entry to those sections.  Once all wristbands have been distributed and the lower level is full, students will automatically be directed to the upper level student sections.
  • General admission areas in the upper level will be clearly marked.  Event staff will monitor the upper level and direct students to the appropriate seating areas.
  • General admission guest tickets (for single games) will only be admitted into the upper level student seating areas.
  • A limited number of reserved seats will be held for students who do not wish to participate in the general admission seating areas.  These reserved seats will be located in the far corner of the upper level student area (Section 200), or other corners of the stadium, based on demand.  An online group seating process will occur in early August for students who purchase a reserved seat.
  • Season ticket pick-up will begin Monday, August 22nd.
  • NOTE: You must be a full-time student to purchase season tickets.  Your student ID will be swiped in August to verify your status when you pick up your tickets.

Again, remember to read the COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS before the July 18th on-sale begins.
