Wildcats face three teams in six-match tournament.

LEXINGTON, Kty. - UK will play host to the fourth-annual Kentucky Conference Challenge Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 17 & 18, at historic Memorial Coliseum. The Cats (5-2) will be playing SE Missouri St., Central Michigan and Hofstra in a round-robin format.

Friday's schedule begins with the Hofstra vs. Central Michigan match at 5 p.m. UK will then host Southeast Missouri with the match set for 7 p.m. Hofstra enters the tournament with a 7-2 record while SEMO is 4-4 and CMU is 3-4.

There are four matches on the slate for Saturday. Morning play begins at 10 a.m. when SEMO takes on Hofstra and is followed by UK vs. Central Michigan at noon. The evening action begins at 5 p.m. when CMU battles SEMO, to be immediately followed by UK vs Hofstra at 7 p.m.

After these matches are completed, the Cats will only have one match before the beginning of the SEC season. UK will host state-rival Louisville on Sept. 21 before heading to South Carolina and the SEC-opener.
