BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Kentucky softball team has been added to the CSS broadcast list for live televised games this season. UK's doubleheader at home with Ole Miss will air live beginning at 4 p.m. ET on April 27.

With the CSS broadcast, this marks the second consecutive season the Wildcats will have a home game broadcast live.

In addition to the April 27 doubleheader, Kentucky was already slated for an ESPNU broadcast with a game at Georgia on April 9 at 2:30 p.m. ET.

The Southeastern Conference's television deal with ESPN will also provide the Wildcats and the entire SEC with national exposure when the SEC Tournament will be shown in its entirety May 12-14 on the ESPN family of networks.

Kentucky begins its 2011 campaign tonight, with games against No. 22/24 Ohio State and the host FIU Golden Panthers at the FIU Combat Classic. First pitch with the Buckeyes is set for 4 p.m. ET, and the game with FIU is slated for 8 p.m.

Live stats and complete coverage of the Wildcat softball team at the FIU Combat Classic can be found at UKathletics.com.
