Telang's Q & A

What is your nickname, why? T-Pain ... because my voice sounds like a synthesizer.

Why did you choose UK? The high expectations to be a great person, student, and soccer player. I love the soccer field and love CATS.

Better bicycle kick: Pele or Rooney? Even though Cristiano left, I'm still a ManU fan so I'd have to go with Rooney.

Would you rather make a nice, hard clean-tackle to stop a goal or execute a perfect corner kick that leads to a goal? You can't win if the other team scores more goals than you, so I'd rather stop a goal.

Would you rather win the World Cup or an Olympic gold medal? World Cup

Who is your favorite athlete? Rafael Nadal, Lebron James, Messi

What do you want to be when you grow up? Follower of Jesus & either Anesthesiologist or Pediatrician

When you were 10, what did you want to be when you grew up? Mia Hamm

What is your favorite vacation destination? Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

What is your prized possession? Bible and my family

What is your guilty midnight snack? Double stuffed oreos and milk

When you leave Kentucky, what do you want people to say about you? A compassionate leader of courage and honesty.

Without looking it up, what's a rutabaga? Rotten bagel?

Who has the quickest temper on the team? I wouldn't mess with Kio-dre (she'd power clean me).

What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but have never been able to? I've always wanted to go on a mission trip to a foreign country to help change lives and to see them smile.

People would be surprised to know that I ... can eat a lot.

What is one interesting story in your life? When I was in seventh grade I was hit above my eye with an axe and had to get 16 stitches inside and outside.
