2012 (Sophomore): Solid season after missing her freshman campaign with an injury ... Performed on floor exercise in every event while also stepping into the bar lineup three times ... Got more consistent on floor as the season went on, posting a 9.8 or higher in four of the team's last eight meets ... Best meet of the year came against Alabama where she scored a career-best 9.9 to win the floor title ... The 9.9 score made her the 18th gymnast in school history to post a 9.9 or higher on the event ... Led Kentucky on floor four times during the season, winning three event titles on the event ... Ended the season with a 9.565 average on floor ... Posted a 9.558 average on bars with a season-best 9.7.
2011 (Freshman): Did not compete due to a foot injury, but was expected to provide depth on several different rotations, including uneven bars.
Pre-College: Level 10 gymnast out of the Legacy Gymnastics Club of Lexington, Ky., under coach Jason Hansell ... Finished second in the Kentucky State Championships last season and first at the state championships in 2007 ... Finished third at the Region Five meet in floor in 2010, while finishing 12th overall a the Regiona Five meet in 2008 ... Posted a fourth-place finish at the NIT Nationals in 2007 ... Completed the Yurchenko full this summer, adding it to her performance ... All-around athlete, competing in track and field in high school, placing fourth in the state in pole vault ... Member of the National Honors Society/Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes .... Spent time volunteering in her community, helping with the Special Olympics.
