Bettie Lou Evans coached the Wildcats for 23 years from 1978-2001. During her tenure, Evans was named Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year in 1986 and 1990, and Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year in 1992. Serving as Director of Golf Operations, she still plays a vital role in Kentucky women's golf.

About the University Club

Big Blue Course Hole by Hole (par 72, 6168 yards) | Map and Directions

Opening in 2002, the University Club of Kentucky became the official home of the UK men's and women's golf teams. The University Club of Kentucky features two 18-hole courses, one named the "Wildcat" and the other "Big Blue".

Internationally renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills designed the renovations to the 36-hole Championship course. Each 18-hole course is approximately 7,000 yards in length and stretch across over 300 acres of rolilng terrain. The courses are complimented by a dozen lakes and ponds providing golfers with a beautiful and challenging round of golf.
