Coach Borst Quotables:
“I always enjoy coming back to Baton Rouge and I am looking forward to us competing here this weekend,” said Kentucky head coach Golda Johansson Borst. “Because of spring break we have been able to practice and play a lot down here and I think that's been really good for the team. The golf course is in good shape and the girls are getting more and more comfortable on these greens. This is a placement golf course (both off the tee and around the greens) and I believe we learned a lot in Hilton Head that we can use to our advantage here. Overall I know the girls are ready to get back to competing this weekend.”
Following the LSU Tiger Golf Classic, UK will compete in its final regular season tournament, the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss., from April 4-6. For more information on the University of Kentucky women’s golf team please visit UKathletics.com and follow on Twitter @UKWomensGolf.
