Wildcats in 10th Heading into Final Day at Alamo Invite

San Antonio, Texas – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team concluded round two at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio, Texas, shooting 13-over-par on Monday and are in 10th place. The Wildcats are 17-over for the tournament with the final round scheduled for Tuesday at the host Briggs Ranch Golf Course. Freshman Cylia Damerau fired the low round for the Cats with a 2-over-par, 74. The Cham, Switzerland native finished strong down the stretch with three birdies on the back nine and is in a tie for 35th overall at 5-over for the invitational.. Ashleigh Albrecht was 3-over on the afternoon and equaled the team-high with three birdies on the day. The senior, who was 1-over on Sunday, is now tied for 32nd at 4-over-par for the event. Senior Heather Lott owns the low score for the Cats in the tournament at 2-over-par and is tied for 24th. Lott was 4-over on Monday after a career-low 2-under-par first round on Sunday. Liz Breed was 5-over on the day and is tied for 41st at 7-over for the tournament, while freshman Sarah Harris is tied for 56th at 10-over-par. The final round of the tournament will resume on Tuesday with a shotgun start beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET. For live scoring of the event please visit www.golfstat.com.
