LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky men’s soccer sophomore goalkeeper Callum Irving and freshmen defenders Charlie Reymann and Jordan Wilson have been selected to the 2013 Conference USA All-Tournament Team, it was announced.

Kentucky concluded its 2013 season with a 1-0 loss to the host and eventual champion Charlotte 49ers on Friday in the semifinals. UK opened the tournament with a 1-0 overtime win over No. 27 Old Dominion, the No. 2 seed in the field, on Wednesday. It marked UK’s first back-to-back trip to the C-USA Tournament Semifinals in program history.

Irving, a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, had a heroic game in goal during UK’s 1-0 win over Old Dominion in the C-USA Tourney Quarterfinals. Irving saved five shots, including a key penalty kick save in the second half to help UK post the clean sheet. On the year, Irving had one of the top seasons in UK history, owning a 1.09 goals-against average, ranking 11th best in school annals, with his six shutouts ranking tied for ninth in UK history.

Reymann, a native of Worthington, Ohio, was an anchor for the UK backline throughout the 2013 season, playing in all 20 games with 17 starts. Reymann finished the year with two goals and one assist, primarily starting at outside back with two starts in an outside midfield position. Reymann was credited by UK head coach Johan Cedergren as a key element in UK’s shutout win over Old Dominion on Wednesday.

A native of Auchterarder, Scotland, Wilson started 17 games at center back for UK in 2013, forming a strong tandem with UK preseason senior All-America center back Steven Perinovic. Wilson helped lead UK to a 1.20 goals-against average in all 20 games in 2013, with UK owning a 1.13 goals-against average in the 17 games Wilson started.
