Kentucky Swings for Conrad Rehling Invitational Title
Tuscaloosa, Ala. Ė The Kentucky menís golf team will compete in its second tournament in five days when it participates in the Conrad Rehling Spring Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala., March 12-14. The field of 13 teams includes host Alabama, UAB, Jacksonville State, Notre Dame, North Florida, Ole Miss, Toledo, Georgia State, Kent State, Mississippi State, Michigan State and Tulane.
The Wildcats finished second at the Hyatt/Dorado Beach Intercollegiate that ended Tuesday afternoon. John Holmes led the way for Kentucky with a third-place finish. Holmes shot a season-low 212, including a third round 69.
UK finished fourth at the Conrad Rehling Invitational last year. The 54-hole event begins Friday at the Olí Colony Club. The second and third rounds will be played Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
