Summer 2007: Claimed the title at the 107th Indiana Amateur Championship ... Competed in U.S.A.P.L. ... For only the eighth time in the stroke-play history of the Championship (prior to 1973 the Championship was match play format) the winner led the field for the entire 72 holes ... In an amazing four rounds that included 26 birdies - 16 coming on the back nine - and 33 pars ... Opened the event with a 66 in the opening round and matched that score in the second day of play with an identical score ...
