LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Kentucky football team began on-field game-plan preparations for Saturday's game vs. Middle Tennessee with a two-hour practice Tuesday morning at the Nutter Training Center.

After practice, Coach Rich Brooks was asked about how quarterbacks Mike Hartline and Randall Cobb handle their on-going competition.

"They get along fine and compete and help each other. That's the way it has to be," Brooks said. "We need them both and we're one injury away from only having one. We need to have them both ready to take snaps and now that (Will) Fidler's shoulder is not as big a problem, he's getting a few (practice repetitions) and he's going to be in the mix."

The Wildcats play host to the Blue Raiders on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $35 each. The game may be seen live via pay-per-view in the state of Kentucky (fans should call their local cable or satellite provider to order the game). Outside Kentucky, fans may see the game on ESPN GamePlan. It also will be a delayed telecast on participating Big Blue Sports Network stations.
