Chris Matthews had 12 catches for 177 yards, both career highs. It was his second 100-yard receiving performance of the year and his career.
Matthews’ 12 receptions is tied for the second most receptions in a game in UK history. The last time was by Dicky Lyons Jr., vs. Middle Tennessee on Sept. 13, 2008.
La’Rod King had four catches for 38 yards and two touchdowns, marking his first two touchdown game of his career.
Mike Hartline completed 32 of 42 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns.

With one touchdown scored, Cobb now has 33 touchdowns in his career, making him ion sole possession of first place on UK’s career touchdowns scored list.
Cobb tied a career high in receptions with eight in the game, becoming the 12th player in school history with at least 100 receptions.
Cobb scored eight points in the game and now has scored 202 career points. He is in fifth place on UK’s career scoring list and needs 24 points to tie Taylor Begley (2002-05) for fourth on the career scoring list.
Cobb totaled 160 all-purpose yards with 27 rushing yards, 63 receiving yards and 75 kick-off return yards, moving into 10th on UK’s career all-purpose yards list. Cobb passes Anthony White (1996-99) and now needs 149 yards to match Dicky Lyons Sr., (1966-68) for ninth.
Donald Russell had a career-high 18 rushes for 41 yards. Russell also caught a career-high seven passes for a career high 70 yards receiving.
Danny Trevathan and Winston Guy each collected 10 tackle or more, marking the first time a UK duo has made at least 10 stops since Nov. 21, 2009 at Georgia.
Danny Trevathan led UK with 11 tackles, including one tackle-for-loss and a forced fumble.
Trevathan has led UK in tackles in six of its seven games this season, including double-digit tackles in three straight games.
Ryan Tydlacka punted twice for over 50 yards and totaled three punts inside the 20 yard line.
