Basketball season has nearly arrived. The Kentucky men’s and women’s basketball teams will take part in Big Blue Madness 7:30 p.m. Friday Oct. 14, ending the long wait for the highly anticipated 2011-12 season. A capacity crowd will pack Rupp Arena to bear witness to the spectacle that is Big Blue Madness, but fans keeping up with the festivities from home have a number of options for watching on television and online.

Madness Timeline

  • 6:00 p.m. - Doors Open
  • 7:30 p.m. - Event Begins
  • 9:30 p.m. - Event Concludes

Watching Online

Madness will be streamed live and free on UKathletics.com, presented by Central Bank. ESPN will also be covering Madness with a stream on ESPN3.

Kentucky is also one of 11 schools that will be featured in the sixth annual ESPNU Midnight Madness special on Oct. 14 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET on ESPNU.

FS South will replay the broadcast on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET to their entire footprint.
