UK Advances to SEC Tournament Championship

Kentucky advanced to the SEC Tournament championship for the second straight year and the 36th time in the program's illustrious history after posting a 72-58 win over Alabama in the semifinals. The Wildcats shot 50 pct. from the field, including 9-of-20 (45.0 pct.) from 3-point range. UK was led by freshman Doron Lamb who tallied a team-high 15 points. He was joined in double digits by Josh Harrellson (14), DeAndre Liggins (14), Brandon Knight (12) and Darius Miller (10). Harrellson added 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season and the seventh of his career and Knight dished out a game-high seven assists. Liggins tied his career-high with nine rebounds and added three assists to his line. The Cats face Florida in the championship game. The two teams split the regular season series.
