Awarded the Myrill Lynch Player of the Game by the media in his first win of the season at Birmingham-Southern on Feb. 16... In the 5-4 win over BSC, he tossed six scoreless innings while allowing only three hits and striking out five... Pitched season-high eight innings and fanned a season-high 10 batters while walking none in a 6-3 win over Miami (Ohio) at Applebee’s Park on March 2... Picked up his third win in relief duties, throwing four scoreless innings with five strikeouts in a 4-3 comeback win over Austin Peay (3/13)... His seven wins tied him for most on the UK staff… Started 18 games, tying the school record for most starts in a season... Went 7-7 while posting a 4.00 ERA, lowest on the Cats' staff... Allowed only 15 bases on balls in 92.1 innings pitched... Accounted for two of the Cats' five complete games... Won his collegiate debut going 5.2 innings, striking out four and allowing no earned runs in UK's 13-2 victory over Charleston Southern (2/12)... Went the distance allowing only five hits and two earned runs in the Cats' 5-2 defeat of Eastern Illinois (2/26)... Threw a stellar complete game versus Georgia (4/15), giving up just six hits and one earned run to claim the win...
