Speedy left-handed hitter served as a back-up outfielder and key bat and runner off the bench as a freshman in 2014, with UK's outfield boosted by standouts Austin Cousino, Ka'ai Tom, Kyle Barrett and Storm Wilson ... Will compete for a starting position in the outfield with the departure of Cousino ... Has a top-of-the-order skill set that profiles as a dynamic leadoff hitter with an ability to steal bases and consistently get on base ... With Cousino missing two games as a junior, UK turned to Carson to start in centerfield in his stead in both games ...
