2002: His 22 appearances led the staff... First action of the season came in a 3-1 setback at UAB, pitching 4.2 innings and striking out four... Came in to slam the door in the ninth to preserve a 6-3 UK victory over Miami (Ohio) to earn his first career save (3/2)... Pitched 4.1 scoreless innings in relief in UK's 6-5 10-inning win over Ball State (3/10)... Suffered first loss of the season in a 7-6 comeback victory by the Georgia Bulldogs in the finale of the three-game one-run loss series to UGA (4/21)... Earned first start of the season and struck out a season-high six batters in a no-decison, six-inning effort in UK's 11-inning setback to Morehead State (5/7).
