As a Junior: One of two pitchers on the UK staff to post a winning record on the year… Started five games in 18 appearances on the mound and recorded a 3-2 record… First win of the season came at Xavier, allowing no runs on four hits through four innings of work (3/28)… Improved his record to 3-0 with winning decisions over intrastate rival Louisville (4/10) and SEC Eastern Division foe Vanderbilt (4/15)… Gave up only two hits and no earned run in six innings in his win over the Commodores (4/15)… Appeared in eight league contests, starting two and posting a 1-1 mark… Posted at least one strikeout in 15 of 18 games… Struck out the side in the sixth inning in a 23-2 win over Tennessee Tech (4/4).
