2002: Redshirt season... Started in nine games of the season before breaking his foot off a foul ball at the plate in a 3-2 loss to Miami (Ohio) (3/1)... Singled in his first plate appearance of the season at Samford (2/15)... Best day at the plate came in a 5-4 win over Pepperdine at the Aggie Baseball Classic as he went a perfect 3-for-3 from the plate with two doubles and a run scored in College Station, Texas (2/23)... Led the Aggie Classic participants - Pepperdine, Texas A&M and Washington State - with four doubles.
2001: Split time behind the plate with Spencer Preston… Hit a grand slam in the sixth inning of a 7-6 10th inning loss to Florida on Apr. 6… Started 49 of 51 games played… Hit .281 with nine doubles, one triple and three home runs in his first year as a Wildcat… Second among starters with a .987 fielding percentage… Went 3-for-4 with a run scored in UK’s 6-2 win over Illinois in the Illini Desert Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
