After redshirt season as a true freshman during the 2009 football season, cracked the playing rotation in UK's deep receiving corp ... Listed all season as the backup to UK All-America wide receiver Randall Cobb, a Paul Hornung Award candidate, given to the nation's most versatile player ... Played in 11 of 12 games on the year, missing one game due to a hamstring injury ... Made three catches, good for 23 total yards ... Best game of the year came in a win over Charleston Southern, hauling in two catches for 10 yards ... Made a start at No. 21 Mississippi State, in place of senior wide receiver Chris Matthews, who finished the year as the SEC leader in touchdown catches ... Excelled on special teams, playing on punt and kickoff coverage all season, recording one tackle ... Helped lead UK to its school-record fifth consecutive bowl game.

Finished the season playing in 18 games with nine starts, earning starts in the final eight games of the season in leftfield ... In the final home non-conference game of the 2010 season against Lipscomb, UK gave Adams his second career start and his first since March 6 against Monmouth in San Diego ...
