LEXINGTON, Ky. – After recording one of the best fall academic semesters in program history, the University of Kentucky swimming and diving teams continued to pile on the accolades, as UK tabbed 24 swimmers and divers to the Southeastern Conference Winter Honor Roll, the SEC office and commissioner Mike Slive announced Wednesday.

“I’m very proud of this group,” UK head coach Gary Conelly said. “They have shown that they are strong competitors in the pool and the classroom.  They are all hard workers and well deserving of this honor.”

In total, 41 student-athletes on the roster claimed a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Also in the fall, both the men's and women's teams recorded GPAs that averaged over 3.0, with the men posting a mark of 3.03, and the women taking claim to a 3.34 average GPA.
