Auburn, Ala. - The University of Kentucky men's and women's diving teams completed the first round of NCAA Zone B Qualifying at Auburn's James E. Martin Aquatics Center on Friday, March 14.

For the men, senior All-American Clayton Moss qualified for his fourth straight NCAA one-meter championship by winning the qualifying round with a score of 725.00, almost a full 25 points ahead of second-place finisher Andrew Bradley of South Carolina who finished with a 700.45. Moss is seeking his fourth-straight one-meter All-America Team selection.

"This is a testament to the type of competitor Clayton Moss has been his whole career," Coach Mike Lyden said. "He has consistently performed at a high level and we just hope he can take this all the way to a National Championship."

For the women, who were attempting to qualify on the three-meter, freshman Jessica Thompson finished 12th, while junior Michelle Brown finished 18th and senior Kelli Frost finished 32nd. Only the top five in each event qualify for the NCAA Championship meet.
