Reed Sets School Record, Finishes Fifth at NCAA Championships

Men have highest overall finish since 2009-10; Finish 21st

2009-10: Continued his individual All-American honors for the third straight season in the 200-freestyle ... Was a member of the 400-free relay which finished fifth at the NCAA Championships, the highest finish for a relay in school history ... Also claimed All-American success in the 800-free relay ... Finished in the top-eight in three individual events at the SEC Championships including a fourth place tap in the 200-freestyle and eighth in both the 500- and 100-freestyle ... Was a member of the record-breaking 400-free relay at the conference championship for the second straight season ... A member of the fourth place 800-free relay at the SEC Championships ... Captured seven first place finishes and one second place finish in the 200-freestyle during dual meet season ... Finished in the top-three in the 500, 100 and 1000-freestyle during every dual meet ... Won the 200-freestyle at the UT Invite ... Named SEC Swimmer of the Week after his two individual wins against rival Tennessee.

2007-08: Was the top scorer for the Wildcats at the NCAA Championships in just his first season ... Tallied All-America status when he touched in 13th in the 200-freestyle ... Also earned All-America accolades as a member of the 13th place 800-free relay teams and the 14th place 400-medley and 400-free relay squads ... Also tapped in 21st in the 100-free at the national meet ... Placed in five events at the SEC Championships ... Took fourth as a member of the 800-free and 400-free relay teams ... Individually he placed fifth in the 200-free, fifth in the 100-free and 11th in the 500-free at the conference meet ... Took first in the 200-free at the Nike Cup ...
