UK Alums Eric Quigley, Tom Jomby to Take Center Court on Tuesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky men’s tennis alums Eric Quigley and Tom Jomby will comprise the night session at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center on Tuesday night, as the Kentucky Bank Tennis Championships get underway in Lexington with first round action in the main singles draw.

UK’s all-time wins leader Eric Quigley will get the night session started at approximately 7 p.m. ET on Center Court, as he will face off against France’s Enzo Couacaud followed by former Wildcat and four-time Sweet 16 participant Tom Jomby facing the No. 8 overall seed in the singles draw, Guilherme Clezaer of Brazil at approximately 9 p.m. ET.

The Kentucky Bank Championships is an ATP and WTA Challenger event held every year at UK’s Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has 94 tournaments throughout the country and prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals.

Tickets for the Kentucky Bank Championships are $10 per day, or $50 for a week-long pass. Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com, or at the gates to the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center. Tuesday is Kids Day and Ladies Day.
