LEXINGTON, Ky. - In the first of two matches at home this weekend the Kentucky volleyball team will host Arkansas on Friday night in Memorial Coliseum at 7 p.m. ET. Dick Gabriel and Mandy Robbe will provide the call on UKathletics.com.

Kentucky (12-7, 6-3 Southeastern Conference) is coming off an impressive pair of sweeps of SEC Western opponents last week. UK knocked off Mississippi State in its first appearance in Rupp Arena in school history. Kentucky then kept the streak alive with a 3-0 victory over SEC West leader Texas A&M.

The Wildcats posted a .351 hitting percentage against the Aggies which marked the highest clip yielded by Texas A&M this season. Senior setter Christine Hartmann found five different players for seven or more kills en route to earning SEC Player of the Week accolades.

Freshman Sara Schwarzwalder had a dominating game from the middle with seven kills on a .667 hitting percentage. Those totals marked career highs in SEC action for the freshman.

Senior Stephanie Klefot continues to rise up the ranks in the SEC career record books for digs. She now ranks sixth all-time in the career digs category with 1,725 and is a mere 30 shy of taking over the No. 4 spot.

After a strong start to the SEC season, Arkansas (14-6 overall) has dropped its last two matches to drop its SEC record to 5-4. Arkansas has given teams like Florida and Texas A&M trouble this season and beat then ranked No. 21 Tennessee on the road 3-1.

The Razorback offense is paced by Jasmine Norton who has compiled 234 kills (3.6 K/S). Right side attacker Roslandy Acosta has collected 179 kills (3.09 K/S).

On defense, Arkansas is led by libero Emily Helm who's tallied 246 digs (3.78 D/S). Janeliss Torres is leading the front line defense averaging 1.08 blocks per set this season.
