Greenberg is a native of Melbourne, Fla., and was a second team member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armor High School All-America team.

"It was exciting to see Jessi named to the Under Armour All-American team in the fall, and we are thrilled to have her joining the program this year," Skinner said. "She's a great player with a motor that never quits, and she brings great enthusiasm and energy to the court. Jessi is a very bright and motivated person who will be a great addition to our team."

Greenberg has also taken to the sand courts and earned a first place finish in the AAU Junior Florida Open and qualified for the America's Challenge in Waikiki, Hawaii, in 2009.

Greenberg also excelled in basketball and track and field. She holds the Trinity record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.67 seconds. As a freshman she was a 1A state champion in track and field. On the basketball court, her AAU team captured a national championship in the open division in 2007.

In the classroom, Greenberg holds the highest honors with an above 4.0 grade point average.
