LEXINGTON, Ky.  – Three Kentucky women’s tennis players and one UK doubles team are ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Preseason Rankings, the ITA announced. The rankings are highlighted by Nadia Ravita and Aldila Sutjiadi earning the No. 12 doubles ranking.

Ravita is ranked No. 41 in the singles rankings, while Sutjiadi is No. 98 and Kelsey Dieters No. 105. Ravita and Sutjiadi’s doubles ranking, at No. 12, is the fourth-highest among Southeastern Conference schools.

Additionally, the ITA announced the draw for the 2014 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championship. Ravita and Sutjiadi earned a spot in the doubles’ main draw, while Ravita was named to the singles qualifying draw and Sutjiadi and Dieters in the singles prequalifying draw.

"We have a great opportunity ahead of us during the All American Championship,” UK head coach Carlos Drada said. “However, our biggest challenge as a team and as individuals during this upcoming season is to maintain the same focus and hunger that have driven us to this point.”

Drada and the Wildcats are coming off an impressive 2013-14 campaign that saw Kentucky make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009. UK advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s second round and three Wildcats competed at the NCAA Individual Championships, including Ravita. Drada was named the Wilson/ITA Ohio Valley Region Coach of the Year, while assistant coach Kevin Calhoun earned Ohio Valley Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors.

The 2014-15 Wildcats open the season Sept. 19-22 at the Minnesota Fall Invitational. The spring slate begins January 13 in Hawaii, while UK hosts its first home contests of the year on Jan. 18 vs. the College of Charleston and Belmont.
