UK Hosts No. 6 Florida Friday, No. 31 USC Sunday on Senior Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The No. 20 Kentucky women's tennis team will host its final two home matches of the season this weekend. The Wildcats host No. 6 Florida on Friday at 6 p.m. ET and No. 31 South Carolina on senior day on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET.

Before Sunday's home finale, UK will honor its senior class of Kelsey Dieters, Stephanie Fox, Edmée Morin-Kougoucheff and Grace Trimble. The senior day festivities are scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m.

Kentucky (15-7, 6-3 Southeastern Conference) concludes its home schedule looking to improve on an 11-1 record in the friendly confines of the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

Along with a No. 20 national ranking, UK is represented several times in the ITA individual rankings. IJunior Nadia Ravita is No. 76 and freshman Mami Adachi is No. 121. Ravita and Aldila Sutjiadi hold the No. 28 ranked doubles spot.

Florida comes to the Boone Center with a 17-1 record, with its only loss coming at the hands of the third-ranked North Carolina Tarheels at ITA National Indoor Championships. UF is undefeated in SEC play and sits atop the league standings.

The Gators have all six singles players in the top 112 individual rankings, three of which are in the top 25 and two in the top 10. Florida has three doubles pairings ranked in the top 54, one of which is in the top 10.

South Carolina enters the weekend with a 12-7 record and a 4-5 mark in SEC action. USC travels to Vanderbilt on Friday.

Along with the No. 31 ranking, the Gamecocks have the 50th-ranked player in Elixane Lechemia and three of their doubles pairings are in the top 80.

Following the series vs. Florida and South Carolina, Kentucky returns to the road to wrap up the regular season. UK will face a pair of to-25 foes, at No. 25 LSU on April 10 and at No. 11 Texas A&M on April 12.
