UK/IMG Sports Network to Televise Four UK Softball Games

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The UK/IMG Sports Network has announced it will televise four University of Kentucky softball games in 2013, completing Kentucky’s 2013 television schedule with seven televised games, it was announced on Wednesday.

The UK/IMG Sports Network will televise UK’s regular-season non-conference home games against Iowa on Wednesday, March 20 at 4:30 p.m. ET (originally scheduled for 4 p.m.) and Louisville on Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. ET. It will also televise UK’s conference showdown with highly ranked Missouri on Friday, April 26 at 5 p.m. ET (originally scheduled for 6 p.m.) and Sunday, April 28 at 1 p.m. ET.

The Iowa, Louisville and Sunday’s Missouri game will be shown live throughout the entire Fox Sports South footprint, while Friday’s Missouri game will be shown live in the state of Kentucky and parts of North Carolina with the full Fox Sports South footprint getting the game on a delayed basis.

The Wildcats will be showcased on national television on Saturday, April 13 when ESPNU televises UK’s battle with highly ranked Florida at 1 p.m. ET. Fox Sports Net also selected Kentucky’s Sunday, March 24 game against Mississippi State for regional telecast on Fox Sports South at 1 p.m. ET.

In addition to regular-season games, fans can watch the Southeastern Conference Tournament on ESPNU and ESPN2. Fans will also be able to access the ESPNU and ESPN2 telecasts through and the WatchESPN mobile app.
