2015 Kentucky Softball Camp

Prospect Camp ­- Sunday, February 1st, 2015

Online Registration

  • Enrollment is strictly on a first come first serve basis.
  • DOES NOT INCLUDE PITCHING OR CATCHING SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION!
  • $90 Grade 7th ­- 12th
  • 1:30PM -­ 4:30PM
  • Camp check-in will open 30 mins prior to camp start time and will be held at John Cropp Stadium Hitting Pavilion.
  • John Cropp Stadium is located at 570 Wildcat Court, Lexington, KY 40506

Summer Camps:

Kentucky Summer Camp ­ will be announced and posted in April 2015.

REMINDERS FOR CAMP

All camps have the same requirements mandated by the University of Kentucky. All MUST be met by the first day of camp. The required information is as follows:

  1. A signed parental consent statement  Get Acrobat Reader  [except Coaches Clinic]
  2. Copy of a physical, dated within 6 months-1 year of camp - Physician ¹s statement is acceptable in lieu of a physical [except Coaches Clinic]
  3. Copy of the front and back of camper's health insurance card [except Coaches Clinic] 
    **NO CAMPER WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL ALL REQUIRED MEDICAL INFORMATION IS RECEIVED!**
  4. Balance must be paid in full [includes Coaches Clinic]

What to bring PITCHERS:

  • Tennis or Turf shoes & Cleats*
  • Glove
  • A Catcher

What to bring CATCHERS:

  • Tennis or Turf shoes & Cleats*
  • Glove
  • Full Equipment (if you have it)

What to bring HITTERS:

  • Tennis or Turf shoes & Cleats*
  • Helmet (if you have it)
  • Bat (if you have it)
  • Batting Gloves

What to bring INFIELDERS/OUTFIELDERS:

  • Tennis or Turf shoes & Cleats*
  • Glove
  • Hat/Visor
  • Sunblock

*Only Turf or Rubber Cleats are allowed in the indoor ­ NO METAL CLEATS in the Indoor Please.

DO NOT BRING VALUABLE ITEMS NOT LISTED ON THIS PAGE!

Please make sure everything is clearly labeled!  There will be a lost and found located at the camp store. The University of Kentucky and its Softball Program are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Reminders to CAMPERS ONLY:

Discounts
To receive the University of Kentucky Employee Discount of 25% you must provide a copy of your UK employee ID card at camp registration on the first day of camp. Additional discounts include groups of 8 or more (20% off each camper in group) and sibling ($20 off each additional sibling registered). You must contact Coach Kristine Himes about Group and Sibling Discounts at uksoftballcamps@uky.edu or call 859.257.4430!

Refund Policy: 
If a camper notifies camp administration in advance (minimally a week prior to their respective camp) of the intent to withdraw from camp, a refund will be processed in full except for $50 service fee. Refunds will be given after the camp begins only in the case of injury or family emergency.

Camp Store: 
To purchase exclusive UK Softball gear visit our Camp Store! We will only be able to accept cash or check (checks made out to UKAD); in addition to apparel it will sell snacks/drinks. Please make sure if campers are given money that it's put in a safe place.

Athletic Trainer
There will be first aid and CPR certified trainers on site at all times. Water coolers will always be full; and Gatorade will also be available. **Certified Trainers cannot provide OTC (over the counter) medication to campers.

Video Cameras
Please be aware that video cameras are prohibited .
