3:23 p.m. -- The ball continues to remain in the SC attack zone as the clock ticks down to 00:00. Final score USC 1-UK 0.3:21 p.m. -- UK can't seem to get an organized attack going. Coming up on 2:00 left in match.

3:15 p.m. -- Another SC attack results in corner kick. The kick was headed away by Novikoff, but entered back in the box where Lopez mis hits a ball resulting in another SC corner. On the second corner, SC was whistled for the foul.

3:13 p.m. -- Diaz-Matosas takes free kick that bounced off post and was knocked away by Hiance. USC was arguing that the ball crossed the line and should have been a goal. The ensuing corner kick was cleared away by UK.

3:06 p.m. -- The Gamecocks continue to press the attackwith the last few minutes being played in their attack zone.

3:04 p.m. -- Another UK foul is called. Katie Fahey's sister Ellen takes the kick for SC. The ball lands right in front of the goal and bounces over for a UK goal kick.

3:02 p.m. -- UK foul on Robinson results in SC free kick. Teh kick is cleared out by UK defense.

3:00 p.m. -- UK attack results in a corner kick for the Wildcats. Kick taken by Raycovers over the box and cleared out.2:50 p.m. -- USC presses the issue again and shot is deflected over the end line by Hiance for a USC corner. The corner sailed over the goal and end line resulting in a UK goal kick.

2:49 p.m. -- USC's Christine Watts controls the ball just over midfield and dribbles all the way tot the top of the 18-yard box and fires a shot that knocks off the far right post and deflects in for a 1-0 USC lead.

2:43 p.m. -- With the exception of a SC foul that allowed UK to knock the ball into their attack zone, the majority of the attack has been to SC.

2:37 p.m. -- UK starting Hiance, Ray, Hull, Goblirsch, McGee, Fahey, Stack, Kildare, Au, Novikoff and K. Browning in the second half.

2:22 p.m. -- Halftime stats: Shots - SC 7, UK 2; Saves - UK 5, SC 1; Corners - UK 3, SC 3; Fouls - UK 4, SC 2

2:20 p.m. -- End of the half, score tied 0-0.

2:19 p.m. -- The Gamecocks have begun to take over the offensive momentum at the end of the half playing the ball the majority of the time in the SC attack zone.

2:07 p.m. -- SC caught the UK defense on their heels in transition resulting in a shot from Kira Campbell from about 10 yds out, but Hiance was about to pull it in for the save.

2:03 p.m. -- A UK foul results in a free kick for the Gamecocks from the top left corner of the 18 yd box. Diaz-Matosas took the shot but it went right at Hiance for the save. In transition, a through ball got to Robinson who tracked it down and forced a USC defender to kick it away for a corner. The corner knocked out of bounds off Laura Novikoff for a USC goal kick.

2:00 p.m. -- The Gamecocks are getting a little more out of their attack on the last two possessions. They have two shots, one was blocked by Hull and the other resulted in a save by Hiance.

1:55 p.m. -- Robinson is really disrupting things for South carolina with her speed. She's made two runs that have sresulted in a shot or a centering pass and corner kicks off both.

1:53 p.m. -- Robinson turns the corner and sends a high centering pass in front of the USC goal that is knocked away by Patton resulting in a UK corner. Lopez got a header off the corner but sent it wide left.

1:48 p.m. -- Time is called by the center official as Kiondra McGee and Kim Miller of SC collide. Miller was attended to by team trainers, but walked off the field on her own.

1:46 p.m. -- Through the first 15 minutes, the play has been about fairly even with both teams having a couple scoring opportunities. The ball has probably spent the time more on the Kentucky defensive side.

1:43 p.m. -- Robinson on a break away down the side fires a shot that is knocked away by SC keeper Mollie Patton for a UK corner. Kildare took corner but it sails over everybody and out of bounds on the far side.

1:41 p.m. -- Another USC corner hits the near post. AFter SC controls the ball it's cleared away by UK defense.

1:40 p.m. -- Ensuing USC corner was knocked away by UK.

1:38 p.m. -- USC corner kick taken by Diaz-Matosas. The ball was swatted out by Hiance to a Kortney Rhoades who rfired a shot that was knocked away by Hiance again resulting in another USC corner.

1:35 -- A USC foul results in a free kick for UK just in side midfield. Kildare's kick is headed out of the box and out of danger by a USC defender.

1:31 p.m. -- UK took the opening kick and sent it into the far left side out of bounds for a USC throw in.

1:30 p.m. -- The national anthem is complete and both teams are taking the field for the opening kick-off.

1:26 p.m. -- The Gamecocks are in white jerseys with a garnett striping on the bottom of their sleeves and garnett numbers with black outlining along with white shorts and socks. The USC keepers are in gray tops and garnett lettering and black shorts and socks.

1:23 p.m. -- The Wildcats come out in their blue jerseys with white striping on the sleeves and white numbers along with their blue shirts and blue socks. The UK keepers are wearing maroon jerseys with white striping on the sleeves and white numbers along with maroon shorts.

1:19 p.m. -- The wind above the field is swirling pretty good, however the corner flags are not moving all that much. It's a nice strong wind so it will be interesting to see what happens when the keepers get the balls up in the air.

1:12 p.m. -- After their pre-game warm-up the Wildcats have returned to their locker room underneath the stands.
