UK Hoops Adds TV Game

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women's basketball game vs. South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 21 will be televised live on Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Southwest and Sun Sports , the league office announced Tuesday. Game time will move to 3 p.m. EST in Memorial Coliseum.

The SEC also announced Georgia's women's basketball game at Florida on Feb. 21 will be aired by ESPN2 at 5 p.m. EST.

The No. 20/23 Wildcats will honor two seniors prior to the game during their annual “Senior Day” ceremonies. It will mark the final regular-season home game for guard/forward Amani Franklin (Stone Mountain, Ga.) and forward Lydia Watkins (Hopkinsville, Ky.)

Thanks to the Cats' success under third-year head coach Matthew Mitchell, the Wildcats receive extensive television coverage. In all, UK will appear on television more than 12 times this season, with five appearances on the Big Blue Sports Network.
