MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Kentucky men’s soccer standouts Dylan Asher, Tyler Beadle, Matt Lodge and Tyler Riggs were each named 2010 All-Conference USA, in a voting of the league coaches, it was announced by the C-USA office.

The Wildcats had three of its freshmen-laden squad honored as members of the All-Conference USA team, in addition to Lodge, a 2009 freshman All-American. Kentucky (7-7-4, 4-2-2 C-USA) returns to action on Wednesday night, facing sixth-seeded and No. 25 Tulsa in the C-USA Tournament quarterfinals. UK won the regular-season meeting against the two-time defending league champion Golden Hurricane on Oct. 27, a 2-1 result in Tulsa.

A native of Richardson, Texas, Asher has had a dynamic freshman season, emerging as one of the top talents in the nation. Asher has started every game of his UK career, totaling the second-most minutes on the team, 1677. Asher has helped anchor the UK defense that has posted a 1.15 goals-against average, spending time on the backline and in the midfield.

Beadle has stepped right into UK’s goalkeeping job as a freshman, becoming one of the top keepers in the league. A native of Douglasville, Ga., Beadle has played every second in goal for the Wildcats, allowing 22 goals in 18 games, with a 1.15 goals-against average. Beadle has saved 59 total shots on the year, good for the 10th-most saves in UK single-season history.

A year after becoming the first freshman All-America selection in program history, Lodge has again led the Wildcats in scoring. Lodge leads the team with 28 shots, including 20 shots on goal, taking the majority of the UK corner kicks. A tremendous talent, Lodge has totaled goals against Iona, at UAB, vs. Indiana and netting the game winner at Tulsa.

A native of Louisville, Ky., Riggs has had a dynamic freshman season, playing in all 18 games and starting 12. Riggs leads UK with five goals on the year, totaling 22 shots and 12 shots on goal.
