Kentucky/Joker Phillips featured on SEC Spring Football show

Spotlight: 2011 SEC Spring Football is a 30-minute special highlighting seven of the 12 SEC member institutions’ football programs as they prepare for the upcoming NCAA football season, including University of Kentucky. Hosted by Ray Goodrich, Spotlight: 2011 SEC Spring Football debuts on SportSouth on Thursday, May 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET between games three and four of the second day of the 2011 SEC Baseball Tournament. Ray sat down with all seven head coaches to discuss the current status of their teams, the coaching philosophies they’re using approaching the new season and what their teams have and need to be successful in 2011. Schools and head coaches included in the show are:

  • University of Alabama; Nick Saban
  • Auburn University; Gene Chizik
  • University of Georgia; Mark Richt
  • University of Kentucky; Joker Phillips
  • University of South Carolina; Steve Spurrier
  • University of Tennessee; Derek Dooley
  • Vanderbilt University; James Franklin

In addition, head coaches Joker Phillips , Steve Spurrier and James Franklin wore microphones throughout practice to give viewers an all access pass to what they experience while they’re preparing for competition.
