  • With the loss, Kentucky is 5-2, 2-2 in the Southeastern Conference. With the win, LSU is to 6-2, 2-2 SEC.

  • The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, playing host to No. 1 Mississippi State at 3:30 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium.
