  • Meeks' nine baskets made from beyond the three-point line ties the UK record set by Tony Delk against TCU on Jan. 20, 1996.
  • The Wildcats used the starting combination of Kevin Galloway, Jodie Meeks, Patrick Patterson, Michael Porter and Perry Stevenson. UK is 3-0 with that starting five.
  • Fifteen Wildcats saw time in today's game.
  • Kentucky extended its streak of made three-pointers to 684 straight games.
  • UK scored the first 10 points of the game holding the Mountaineers scoreless until the 14:47 mark. It is the second consecutive game that the Wildcats have held an opponent scoreless for five-plus minutes to start a game while scoring 10 or more points. Last time out, Kentucky outscored Indiana 14-0 while holding the Hoosiers scoreless for the opening 6:28.
