  • Kentucky improved to 60-41-3 all-time in season openers.
  • UK posted its first win over a No. 1 ranked team since claiming a series vs. No. 1 LSU in 2012.
    • It marked UK’s first game against a non-conference team ranked No. 1 in the modern-era history of the program (2003-present).
    • It marked the fourth win over a No. 1 ranked team in the Gary Henderson era.
  • UK totaled six doubles, its most in a game since collecting six doubles on April 22, 2012 vs. LSU.
