ATHENS, Ga. - The Kentucky diving team continued its success at day two of the Georgia Diving Invitational as the women placed three divers in the top 11 of the three-meter competition, and John Fox led the UK men's team with a seventh-place finish at the Gabrielsen Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia on Wednesday.

"John Fox is getting back into diving shape," UK head diving coach Ted Hautau said after the meet Wednesday. "The girls were better. They are very young, but they are improving."

With the women competing in the three-meter competition, Christa Cabot led the way for UK yet again, posting a mark of 259.35, good enough for a seventh-place finish. The freshman from The Woodlands, Texas also led Kentucky on Tuesday with a seventh-place finish in the one-meter dive.

Sarah Chewning finished one spot below Cabot, guiding herself to a 258.05 score, posting an eighth-place finish. The sophomore from Springdale, Ark., earned her second-consecutive top-10 finish, as Chewning placed 10th in the one-meter competition Tuesday. Lindsay Keahey rounded out the Wildcats day with an 11th-place finish in the three-meter competition, earning a 252.85 score in the final round.

On the men's side, Fox continued his impressive meet with a seventh-place finish scoring a 306.25 in the final round. Greg Ferrucci also qualified for the finals in the one-meter dive and finished 16th, posting a mark of 234.20.

The UGA Diving Invitational will conclude on Thursday.
