Wildcats Notch Seven NCAA Provisional Time Standards

AUBURN, Ala. - The UK men's and women's swimming and diving teams swam sevenNCAAprovisional cuts on the second day of the Auburn Last Chance Invitational ledby freshman Eddie Clement who broke his own school record, set last week at theSoutheastern Conference Swimming & Diving Championships. Clement's time of1:48.05 met the NCAA "B" cut and is a half second faster than his time fromlast weekend.
Sophomore Debra Hinsley finished fourth in the 200 butterfly with a time of2:02.46, meeting the NCAA provisional time standard.In a 100 breaststroke time trial, freshman Roger Watkins swam a blistering timeof 56.13, his first NCAA "B" cut.
