Women’s Tennis to Close Spring Homestand Friday and Sunday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (8-10, 2-7 SEC) will host Southeastern Conference opponents No. 17 South Carolina (14-5, 6-4 SEC) on Friday at 5 p.m. EST and No. 13 Florida (12-7, 8-2 SEC) on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

Sunday’s match will be honor Kentucky’s two seniors, Makayla Mills and Maialen Morante, for Senior Day.

Kentucky enters the weekend of play following one home win against Missouri, 4-0, and one loss to Arkansas, 3-4 last weekend at Boone Tennis Center.

Both South Carolina and Florida come to Lexington with a pair of wins over Ole Miss and Mississippi State last weekend. The Gators will enter Sunday’s match after a Friday contest at Vanderbilt.
