Kentucky (7-1) is currently in the midst of a difficult stretch of playing five games in 11 days including three away from Memorial Coliseum. The stretch started with a setback at Baylor before UK earned its seventh win of the season by defeating Tennessee Tech on Sunday inside Memorial Coliseum. After Tuesday’s game vs. Evansville, UK will travel to play at Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, Dec. 8 and at Miami (Fla.) on Sunday, Dec. 10. Both Florida Gulf Coast and Miami (Fla.) are receiving votes nationally.

Kentucky is coming off an 82-54 victory over Tennessee Tech on Sunday. The Wildcats dominated in the post with 36 points in the paint, 21 second-chance points and a 46-23 rebounding edge. Kentucky recovered from its shooting woes at Baylor to hit at a 48.5 clip from the field, including six 3s, while limiting Tennessee Tech to just 33.3 percent from the field and 23.1 percent from long range.

In all, 12 Wildcats scored in the game. Junior guard Maci Morris paced UK again with 16 points, adding six rebounds and three blocks, while freshman forward Tatyana Wyatt scored 12 points with three rebounds, three blocks and two assists.
