The Throwbacks to Play Pregame Concert Saturday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Throwbacks will take the stage for the next Kentucky Football Pregame Concert on Saturday before the Wildcats take on Ole Miss.
The concert will take place on the stage in the plaza outside Gate 12 of Kroger Field. The Throwbacks will play immediately following the Cat Walk presented by Chevy, which is set to begin at 1:45 p.m. Bradford BBQ and Mad Mike’s food trucks will be open next to the concert stage. The game between the bowl-eligible Wildcats and Rebels will kick off at 4 p.m.
The Throwbacks are a four-piece ’90s tribute band. The Lexington-based group plays all things ’90s rock, from Weezer and Sublime to Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains. The Throwbacks were among eight musical acts that competed in UK’s preseason Open for the Cats competition.
