Professional Experience:
Came to UK from UCLA where she worked from 1998-2002. Left as the associate head strength & conditioning coach in charge of: VB, WSOC, MWATERPOLO, WWATERPOLO, WSWIM, WBB & SB. Worked with 3 National Championship teams and coached several Olympians. Began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Ohio University in 1997. Competed in Olympic weightlifting and qualified for the American Open in 1999.

Personal Information:
Earned both her bachelor's of science degree in journalism (1997) and her master's of science degree in physical education (1998) from Ohio University. Was a 4 year letter-winner on the OU volleyball team where she played the opposite hitter position from 1993-1996. Currently resides with her husband, Matt Simmons, and daughter, Piper Rose,in Lexington, KY.
