Dustin Lewis began working at the Center for Academic and Tutorial Services (CATS) in 2006 and has served as CATS Life Skills Coordinator since the Fall of 2009. Dustin, who is originally from Elizabethtown, KY, worked as an administrative support associate at CATS from 2006-2008 before taking over as the academic counselor for rifle, women's golf, and the men's and women's track teams in 2008-09.
Dustin assists students in selecting career choices and forming a career development plan. In addition, he works with the UK coaching staff to provide a variety of personal development programs including alcohol education, social media awareness, financial responsibility and coordinates programming mandated by the Southeastern Conference. Dustin also directs CATS community service projects involving all UK student-athletes and is responsible for updating and maintaining the Student-Athlete List Serve, coordinating National Student-Athlete Day Activities and editing the Student-Athlete Handbook each year. He is also the event planner for the annual UK Student-Athlete Orientation.
Dustin received a B.A. in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University in 2003. He earned a master's in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with an emphasis in Sports Leadership from the University of Kentucky in 2008.
