Jamie Holloway is in her 10th year working for the Kentucky Athletic Media Relations Department and her fourth year as the Office Coordinator.
A native of Paducah, Ky., Holloway began working for UKMR in 2003, her freshman year at Kentucky. Since her arrival at Kentucky, Holloway has played a pivotal role in the daily activities of the UKMR office, serving a variety of functions. Since assuming the role of office coordinator, Holloway has overseen the overall management of the department, including managing UKAA's extensive athletic event credentialing process.
While an undergraduate at Kentucky, Holloway distinguished herself as an award-winning student, graduating with a double major in accounting and management from UK's Gatton College of Business. A member of the dean's list in each semester of her college career, Holloway graduated with departmental honors. She was also an active member of Tri-Delta Sorority during her time as an undergraduate, serving several roles, including athletics chair and vice president of academic development.
After graduating, Holloway spent 18 months working in the corporate accounting office for Fazoli's System Management, LLC.
The daughter of Jim and Judy Holloway, she graduated from Reidland High School in Paducah, Ky., helping lead her softball team to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Championship in 2002. Holloway was named All-Region in soccer in 2002-03, All-District in softball in 2003 and played for the West in the East-West All-Star High School Softball game in 2002.
