The 2009 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship, featuring teams from the University of Kentucky, premiers this weekend on ESPN2 with the first of three different shows from the competition.

The first episode covers the Cheer Division IA and Dance Division IA Hip Hop categories. It will be televised Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

Kentucky won its 17th national cheerleading championship at the event. The UK Dance team also made a strong showing with a seventh-place national finish.
