Parking
2013 Spring Game Parking Regulations
- Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th
- Tow-Behind Trailer Policy
- Guests bringing a tow-behind trailer will be directed to the nearest grass lot (Orange or Purple).
- All tow-behind trailers will be directed to park in the periphery of the grass lots.
- Lots are not reserved and are first-come, first-served
- During the
one-hour period prior to kickoff, lots will be filled according to
availability. If your desired lot is full upon arrival, you will
be directed to the next available lot.
- In order to accomodate the parking demand, please confine your tailgates to one parking stall. ONE SPACE - ONE VEHICLE.
- Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- No open alcoholic containers are permitted at Commonwealth Stadium.
- UK is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- At approximately 1 hour prior to kick-off, parking staff will
enter into "All Park." At this time, vehicles will be directed into
the closest available lot.

Tailgating Policies

Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th
- Golf Cart Policy
- In the interest of safety for all guests, pedestrians, etc. beginning 2010, guests’ golf cart use will be prohibited on the Commonwealth Stadium Complex to include all parking lots, sidewalks, streets, etc.
- This includes motorized scooters, coolers, etc.
- Guests are asked not to bring golf carts to the complex.
- Parking lots open at 8:00 AM on game day.
- Tailgate in back of your vehicle.
- Large industrial-size cookers must be approved by UK Athletics prior
to game day.
- Portable generators must be approved by UK Athletics prior to game
day.
- Banners and signage recognizing businesses may not be posted on Commonwealth
Stadium property unless approved by UK Athletics.
- No parking on any green space between the Green, Red, and Blue lots.
- Music should be confined to your tailgate area. Any use of live bands or a DJ must be approved by UK Athletics prior to game day.
- Tents erected on green space may be no larger than 10'X 10', unless
otherwise approved by UK Athletics
- Tents may not be erected in parking spaces
- Fans using a tent or canopy over the tailgate of a vehicle should keep
the travel lanes open for vehicular traffic.
- Properly extinguish and dispose of charcoal and other flammables.
Please do not place them in any dumpster or trash can.
- Cooper Drive Tailgate & Parking
- Cooper Drive will be closed to all parking and tailgating on Saturday, April 13th.

- Spectators are also encouraged to utilize the UK Football
Express - Downtown Route. The Downtown Shuttle picks up at the following
locations:
- Shops at Civic Center ; 430 W. Vine (shuttle tickets available
for purchase at this location)
- LexTran Transit Center ; 200 W. Vine (shuttle tickets available
for purchase at this location)
- Ramsey's; Woodland/High/Maxwell
- On-campus parking is also available in the following areas:
- Parking Structure #2 - accessible from University Drive near the
WT Young Library
- Parking Structure #6 - On the corner of Virginia Avenue and Press
Avenue
- Parking Structure #7 - sccessible off Sports Center Drive
- The ‘R3’ surface lots on the corner of Cooper Drive and Sports Center Drive will be closed Saturday, April 13.
- Cooper Drive Tailgate & Parking
- Cooper Drive will be closed to all parking and tailgating on Saturday, April 13th.

Disability Services
- Valid, state-issued handicapped placard is required.
- Disabled parking will be located:
- In the Blue lot outside gate 12
- In the Red lot outside gate 9
- An additional disabled lot located in the Tobacco Research Center Lot, at the corner of University Drive and Farm Road.
- Once the disabled parking lots are full, guests will be directed to park in Parking Structures
2 or 6.
- Shuttle : Begins two hours before kickoff. Pick up is located
in the Non-Reserved Disabled Lot (Tobacco Research Center parking lot).
Drop off point is Gate 9. Return shuttles begin at the end of the 3rd
quarter and continue until 30 minutes after the end of the game.
- A disabled guest golf cart shuttle is available from Gate 9 to any
other gate outside of Commonwealth Stadium.
- Check with the Guest Services for additional help.
