Commonwealth Stadium Guide A-Z

Fans are encouraged to make an early entry to Commonwealth Stadium for the games. Long lines develop at some of the stadium gates just before the the games and fans can help ease that situation by entering earlier for the games.

No SmokingSmoking – the University of Kentucky campus is completely tobacco-free.  All members of the campus community, as well as visitors, will be asked to comply with this policy, which prohibits the use of all tobacco products on all campus grounds and parking areas (cigarettes, chew, pipes, cigars, snuff, etc.)  The policy applies to Commonwealth Stadium, which began operating as a smoke-free facility in 2008.

ATMS

Located next to the public elevator doors inside Gates 1, 4, 9 & 12. ATM and credit cards are now accepted at most concession stands.

  • For security purposes, continuing in 2012, backpacks will not be permitted in Commonwealth Stadium.
  • Purses, small handbags, etc. will be permitted.
  • All bags are subject to search.

CHAIR BACKS

Personal chair backs are allowed as long as they are 18" or smaller in width. Chair back rentals will not be available for the Spring Game.

CONCESSION SPECIALTIES

Various speciality concessions are available throughout Commonwealth Stadium. ATM and credit cards are now accepted at most concession stands.

CODE OF CONDUCT

In order to keep Kentucky Football games as enjoyable as possible for all, the University of Kentucky asks that all patrons respect those around them. The University of Kentucky reserves the right to remove any individual from Commonwealth Stadium who displays conduct that may endanger or disrupt players, coaches, officials or other patrons. No refunds are given in such cases.

DISABLED GUEST SERVICES

  • Valid, state-issued handicapped placard is required.
  • An additional disabled lot located at the corner of University Drive and Farm Road - first-come, first-served.
  • Shuttle: Begins two hours before kickoff. Drop off point is Gate 9. Return shuttles begin during 3rd quarter and continue until 30 minutes after the end of the game.
  • Disabled guest golf cart available from Gate 9 to any other gate.
  • Guest Services booths are available to address any questions or concerns you may have, and are available in the following locations:
    • Inside Gate 11 on the south side of the stadium
    • Inside Gate 3 on the north side of the stadium

Public access to the playing field is strictly prohibited. Violators are subject to arrest and prosecution.

GOLF CARTS

  • In the interest of safety for all guests, pedestrians, etc. continuing in 2012, guests’ golf cart use will be prohibited on the Commonwealth Stadium Complex to include all parking lots, sidewalks, streets, etc.
  • This includes motorized scooters, coolers, etc.
  • Guests are asked not to bring golf carts to the complex.

GUEST SERVICES

  • University of Kentucky Athletics strives to ensure a positive game day experience for all fans.  While inside Commonwealth Stadium, Guest Service Desks are available to assist you with questions or concerns you may have while attending a game.  They are located inside Gates 3 and 11 or just look for the signs!
  • Guest Service locations inside Commonwealth Stadium provide:
    • Brochures containing maps, diagrams, and other important game day information
    • Assistance with location of seats, restrooms, ATM’s, and other areas of Commonwealth Stadium
    • Lost-child wristbands – parents may wristband their children and register contact information with guest services to facilitate a quick recovery of lost children, should the situation arise.
    • …and any other questions or concerns you may have regarding your game day experience.

LOST AND FOUND

During the game, items will be taken to Police Assistance between ramps 107 & 108 (fans can also drop off any items found here as well). Postgame, items can be claimed by calling the UK Police Department at 257-1616.

SECURITY CHECKS

For security reasons, all persons entering Commonwealth Stadium are subject to search. Arrive early and bring as few personal items as possible. If you are bringing a bag (i.e. large purse, backpack, diaper bag, etc.) into the stadium you will be checked at this section of the gate.

STROLLERS

Strollers may be brought into Commonwealth Stadium, provided they are a small collapsible style that can fit under a stadium seat/row without restricting ingress/egress.  Strollers are subject to search upon entering Commonwealth Stadium.

TICKETS

  • Free tickets are available at the Commonwealth Stadium ticket booth (outside gate 4) beginning Saturday, April 13th or in advance online:
  • Admission: All persons entering the stadium, regardless of age, must have a ticket, credential, or worker's badge.
  • Pass outs: Pass outs are not available at Commonwealth Stadium, per Southeastern Conference regulations.
  • Resale: Selling tickets in excess of face value is illegal in Kentucky. No tickets may be sold in the immediate vicinity of the ticket office.
