On Sunday, Mitch Barnhart announced that head football coach Joker Phillips will be replaced at the end of the 2012 season. Phillips' status for the season's final two games was initially up in the air, but on Monday, the man who has spent almost 22 years of his life as a Kentucky player and coach decided to finish the season.

UK has two games left in the 2012 season, hosting Samford on Nov. 17 before traveling to Tennessee on Nov. 24 and Phillips will lead the Wildcats in both.

He and his team will begin preparing for Samford at practice on Tuesday, after which Phillips and selected players will be available for interviews. Make sure to check back on Tuesday afternoon for a report from practice.
